For a certain period with repayments made

The Savings and Loan Collection Sheet window has three tabs that it uses to generate three deferent Savings and Loan Collection Sheets. The "For a certain period with repayments made" generates the report for a selected range of dates with repayments that have been made during that period

How to view the savings and loan collection sheet for a certain period with repayments made

To view the savings and loan collection sheet for a certain period with repayments made, go to Loans/Portfolio Reports/Group Members Portfolio Reports/Savings and Loan Collection Sheet, and select the tab option for a certain period with repayments made a screen like one below appears:

Note that

1. On this sheet, there is a provision to record the receipt number issued as well as signatures for the group treasurer, loan officer and branch accountant (this can be seen under the sub title Detail at the bottom of this page).

2. This printout has a provision to record the detailed total cash amount in savings, loans, fees and commission paid by members and delivered and signed by the group clients and the space for the loan officer's name.

3. This printout can then be used to up date the system once the loan officer returns to office.

4. This tab option generates a report form for savings and loan payments expected for only group clients.

• Report date from:  In the drop down box, select the appropriate date when the report will start, e.g., "01/06/2020" and in the to Date drop down box select the date when it will end e.g., "11/06/2020".
• Each group on separate page:  When this option is selected, the members found in each group with outstanding loans will be shown on separate sheets of paper.
• Include All members:  When this option is selected, all members irrespective of whether they took a loan or not will appear in the report.

• From Group No.:  From the drop down box, select the group number for which the Savings and Loan Collection sheet should start e.g. KA/000001 and in the "To Group No" drop down box select the loan number for which the report will stop e.g. KA000004 as shown in the screen above.
• From Cost Centre:  From the drop down box, select the Cost Centre for which the Savings and Loan Collection Sheet should start and in the "To Cost Centre" section enter the loan number for which the report will stop. In the screen above Unknown is selected.
• Branch Code: Select a branch for which you want to generate the Savings and Loan Collection sheet. In the example above, we have checked "For all" option to have a report for all branches.
• Credit Officer:  Select from the drop down box a particular credit officer whom you want to generate the Savings and Loan Collection sheet for. It will possible to see Group Member clients with outstanding loans who were handled by the officer selected. In the example, the "For all" option is checked.
• Loan Fund: From the drop down box, select a particular Loan Fund that you want to generate the Savings and Loan Collection sheet. The Loan Fund is set at Menu System\Configuration\Funds. In the example, the "For all" option is checked, this is in order to look at the Savings and Loan Collections for all Loan Funds.
• Geographical Area: From the drop down box, you can select to generate the Savings and Loan Collection sheet basing on the actual locations of the Members. For example Districts, County, Sub-County and Parish as specified in your settings under Menu Support Files\Geographical Area's. In the example in the first screen of this page, the "For all" option is selected in order to have the Savings and Loan Collection sheet for all geographical areas.
• Loan Product: From the drop down box, select a loan Product that you want to generate the Savings and Loan Collection sheet. The Loan product depends on what was set at Menu System\Configuration\Products. You may have Loan Products like School Fees Loans, Agricultural Loans etc. In the example above, the "For all" option is selected in order to have the Savings and Loan Collection sheet for all Loan Products that were offered.
• Business Sector: From the drop down box, select a Business sector from which you want to generate the Savings and Loan Collection sheet. This can be Agriculture, Industry, Services or any other depending on what you set at Menu Support files/Business Sector. In the example above, the "For all" option is selected to have the Savings and Loan Collection sheet for all sectors in the selected period.
• Cost Center: From the drop down box, select a cost center for which you want to generate Savings and Loan Collection Sheet about e.g. "Finance". You may tick the Check for all option to have a report on all business sectors that are available in the system.
• Grouping/Order: Select from the drop down box how the report to be generated will be classified in the column title/heading. In the example above, we select Group name & member number.
• Report Format: Select from the drop down box the sequence in which the column titles in your report will appear. In the screen above, the first option is selected. 
• Member Category 1:  Select a particular category of group members from the drop down box or check "For All" option to have the Savings and Loan Collection sheet for all the categories of group members available in the system.  Member Category is set at menu Support Files/Group Member Category 1. This applies to member category 2 and 3.
• Client Category 1: From the drop down box, select a client based on the classification that you made at Menu Support Files Client Category 1. In the example, the "For all" option is checked. The same applies for Client Category 2 and client Category 3.
•  Loan Category 1: From the drop down box, select a classification of a loan that you made at Menu Support Files/Loan Category 1, it may have been a long term loan, short term loan etc. In the example, the "For all" option is checked. The same applies for Loan Category 2 and Loan Category 3.
•  Additional filtering options? : This option is used to get a particular field or specification that you want. It helps you to narrow down the search for information that you need.

Click on the OK button to generate the Savings and Loan collection sheet that will look like one below or click on the Close button to quit.
